Best trail work party! Join us at the Freund Canyon Trailhead Parking Lot at 8a. Bring your bike and helmet, lunch, water, gloves, closed toed shoes, and layers.

Directions

From Leavenworth turn off US2 onto Chumstick Highway. After 1.7 miles turn left onto Freund Canyon Road. Follwo Fruend Canyon road for 0.4 miles and as soon as it turns to dirt turn left up the gravel road. Stay to the left on this road and please travel slowly to respect the trails neighbors.  After 0.4 miles on the gravel road you will reach the Freund Canyon Trailhead. The road is gated here although the gate is open.

  • Sturdy Footwear, boots recommended

  • Long-sleeved shirt recommended
  • Eye protection recommended (glasses, sunglasses or safety glasses)

What to Bring

  • A backpack to carry your personal gear
  • A jacket or coat in case of cold weather
  • Snacks/Lunch
  • Water
