Leavenworth Ski Hill

Connecting a series of trails that mountain bikers have worked to build for over 15 years, the Ski Hill Project represents a partnership between Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and the USFS Wenatchee Ranger District that joins several stacked-loop trail concepts. Ranging from green circles to black diamonds this progressive-level system affords great riding options for riders of all abilities.

In addition to working on current trails like Freund Canyon, Rosy Boa, and For the Boys, Evergreen Central crews are also constructing a new uphill trail (name TBD) that will connect to these existing routes and allow riders to enjoy 5-6 mile loops directly from the base of Ski Hill.

Additionally, Evergreen Central is in the process of working on the Ribbed trail, a downhill specific flow trail with man-made jumps.

Wet Great news! The uphill trail has melted out and Rosie Boa is in great shape! 4 the boys is good to go. Freund still has a lot of snow and is closed. The Uphill Trail, all of Rosie Boa and 4 the boyz Memorial Trail are open! Please remember that if it has rained to wait for trails to dry. We would like to see the pavement in front of your house to be dry before you head up to the trails.

We are starting maintenance on the uphill trail, it will be closed during our work parties as we will be rolling rocks and dirt down. Please respect this closure.

Work parties are here! Wednesday, April 10th and Friday April 12th we will meet at the Ski Hill parking lot at 9am with bikes and head up the uphill. We will be working on treadwork and the back slope. Bring lunch, water, gloves, closed toed shoes, and layers to stay warm/dry.

Freeze/thaw Cycle Spring is here! We need your help to keep our trails in good condition so read carefully please! 4 the boys is good to go, there is snow in the last ravine just before freund. Rosie Boa still has snow and is closed. Lower Rosie is dry and good to ride! The uphill trail is still wet and has snow so its closed. Freund has over a foot of snow still and is closed.

Take away: Trails are almost clear but please wait til they are dry, ride 4 the boys and lower rosie boa! Riding snowy and wet trails this spring creates ruts in the clay dirt we have and will dry in that shape, which is not very fun to ride, it also creates erosion by riding on the outside of the trail to avoid snow patches. Thank you! Great time to get your bike tuned up, renew your Evergreen Membership, and watch our website/social media for work party updates coming soon!
