Project Description

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: Rescheduled for April 14th

Building off the success and effectiveness of Evergreen's work-party weekend that has maintained Devil's Gulch and the Mission Ridge Trail for the past several years, Evergreen and Chelan/Douglas Land Trust (CDLT) are partnering for a one day work party to maintain most of the trails in the Wenatchee foothills, and ride in the Sage Hills before finishing the day with a BBQ at the Horse Lake Trailhead.  If you ride the Sage Hills, please come out on April 7 to help with brush cutting, rut repairs, drainage and improvements (Homestead, Balsamroot, Glacier View, The Gut, Apricot Crisp and a few other popular trails). Put it on your calendars now and follow up with Central WA Evergreen's website ( or the Land Trust's website ( ) to receive additional details as they are known.  For now, plan to meet at the end of the pavement on Horse Lake Road at 9am.  Tools will be provided.  Riding your bike to the event is encouraged! Following the trail work party, we will have a BBQ with liquid refreshments. After the BBQ, you can either ride down the trails on your bike or hop on a shuttle bus and be teleported to your car.
