Snow Covered Spring has arrived, bike season is just around the corner and we know people are itching to get out hiking and riding bikes, but please stay off trails that are snow covered or wet. Using wet trails in Central Washington create a lot of damage to our trails.

Leavenworth Ski Hill

Wet Great news! The uphill trail has melted out and Rosie Boa is in great shape! 4 the boys is good to go. Freund still has a lot of snow and is closed. The Uphill Trail, all of Rosie Boa and 4 the boyz Memorial Trail are open! Please remember that if it has rained to wait for trails to dry. We would like to see the pavement in front of your house to be dry before you head up to the trails.

We are starting maintenance on the uphill trail, it will be closed during our work parties as we will be rolling rocks and dirt down. Please respect this closure.

Work parties are here! Wednesday, April 10th and Friday April 12th we will meet at the Ski Hill parking lot at 9am with bikes and head up the uphill. We will be working on treadwork and the back slope. Bring lunch, water, gloves, closed toed shoes, and layers to stay warm/dry.

Mountain Home

Apr 11, 2019
Closed Mountain Home Road is currently closed to non-resident traffic by Chelan County Public Works to prevent surface damage, so access to the Land Trust property and trails is impractical.

Trail system is rough due to forest thinning operation on the property. Repairs will be done in 2019.

Peshastin Mill Site

Apr 11, 2019
Variable Recent rain has made the trail a little soft in some areas. Please be mindful of this and prevent tire tracks on soft areas.

Sage Hills

Apr 12, 2019
Variable Trails are open and in good condition. Be aware of soft spots in low points or north aspects, and shady sections on the upper portion may still be wet and soft. Avoid using muddy trails to prevent unnecessary damage during spring rain events.

Please be aware: Day Drive Trailhead is currently closed for maintenance/repairs. We will post an update on the availability of this access point soon.

Squilchuck State Park

Apr 17, 2019
Closed Trails are still closed. The park is still covered in snow or very muddy. Please respect the trails and stay off the trails until the trails have dried out and open for use. We are currently looking at a date around May 1st.
